Value Chains

Since 2000, the EDA livelihoods team has been involved in direct value chain implementation using a market based approach in a number of sectors, including  – honey/bee keeping, leather work, vegetable production, and several urban enterprises both from service and manufacturing – working with men and women entrepreneurs. Drawing on this hands-on experience, we have developed a number of training programmes and continue to provide capacity building support to micro/small entrepreneurs and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs).

Our partners include:  SEEP network, MEDA, Ford Foundation
